The Breckenridge Ski Area is open from early to mid November to about mid April depending on the snow. The base elevation of the ski area is 9600 feet above sea level and at the Summit it is 12,998 feet. The ski lifts are a lot better than most with 2 high speed 6 passenger super chairs, a new gondola, 7 high speed quad lifts and more. 29 lifts in all! Snow boarders and Skiers love the 25 acres of Terrain Parks available and the 152 different types of trails with 2,358 ski able acres in all! The Ski Area supports a wide variety of property rentals and additional new properties like Crystal Peak Lodge.
