Breckenridge Annual Ullr Fest

During this festival you’ll find horned Viking hats, Skating Party, Nordic Party, Ullr Dating Game, Ullympics at Carter Park, a wacky parade down Main Street, an Ullr Bonfire, the crowning of the Ullr King & Queen and an Ullr Comedy Night.

This Festival began in March of 1963 as a local’s event to honor Ullr the Glorious Norse God of Winter Snow Skiing. He is known mostly in Sweden & Norway traveling on skis dressed in skins with his bow as a warrior. The locals have enjoyed this Festival over the years as a big party celebrating all the outdoor winter activities offered in the high mountain town of Breckenridge Colorado.
